Ready for an exciting announcement? You asked for it, it’s coming! The Cinnamon Spice Quilt Along 2021! Yes that’s right, I am happy to announce that I will be hosting my first quilt along! I am beyond excited! I am even more honored and humbled that the main reason I decided to host a quilt along with this pattern is because YOU, my quilty community asked for it!
How to Join

To join the Quilt Along, sign up on my website. This will add you to my email list so that you receive weekly updates and general tips during the QAL.

Purchase the pattern on my website. I have PDF versions available and printed versions are available for pre-order. They will ship on October 15, 2021.

Join my private QAL Facebook group for details tips, tutorials and videos. I will walk you through every step of the pattern and various tips. Please note, only verified purchasers of the pattern will be granted access to the Facebook group, as I will be discussing and showing exact instructions and portions of the patterns.
What to Expect

On Monday of each week, I will post a blog post and send an email about that week’s activity. I will give you general tips and any important updates. I will also note our generous sponsor for the week and the prize. I will also periodically share QAL information on Instagram.

Also on Monday of each week, I will post a video in the private Facebook group with more specific details about that week’s task. As mentioned above, because I will be discussing and showing portions of the pattern, you must be a verified purchaser of the pattern to join the private QAL Facebook group. This is also a great way to make new quilt friends and build community!

I will not host any live events, but please feel free to post your questions, comments or tips for other quilters on Instagram, in the Facebook group, in the blog post comments or email me directly!

Winners for each week will be chosen on the Monday following. The grand prize winner will be selected on November 29, 2021. To be eligible for each weekly drawing, you must have a public Instagram account and post your weekly progress using the hashtag #CinnamonSpiceQAL. You can choose any size of quilt that you would like to make. You can work ahead, but you must post progress for each individual week to be eligible for that particular week’s prize drawing. Each weekly drawing closes on the Sunday at 11:59 p.m. CST and the winner will be chosen and announced the following day.
Quilt Along Schedule
The Cinnamon Spice quilt along will last 5 weeks. The pattern is a really quick sew plus I’ll be showing you tips and tricks to piece your quilt top in record time! I do realize that this falls during Thanksgiving for those in the United States, but I scheduled assembly during that week which gives you 2 weeks. Plenty of time! Don’t worry!
