    Do you know what a REAL quilty friend does for you Do you know what a REAL quilty friend does for you? When you aren’t feeling your best, they not only help make a whole cloth quilt for your spoiled dachshund with @rubystarsociety Dog Park, they use an amazing @shannonfabrics Cuddle navy backing and a 🐾 panto…but then, they surprise you with embroidering said spoiled brat’s 🐶 name on the quilt too 🧵🪡😍 @sparethreads worked all of her magic with this adorable quilt and not only did she make me feel pretty good but she made my pups day too! And we finished just in time for National Dachshund Day!!! Thank you Debbie!!!!!     I consider myself an overly clean person, BUT, the I consider myself an overly clean person, BUT, there are some sneaky places in my sewing room that quickly and easily get overlooked when I clean!     Here it is!! Mother’s Day handmade gift #1, this Here it is!! Mother’s Day handmade gift #1, this was for my beautiful cat-loving mom! I have always been a bit afraid to sew most bag patterns out there but thanks to this beautiful Starburn Crossbody pattern by @spencerogg and her amazing video tutorials, I did it 🎉 when I bought this adorable faux leather from hardware from @zippervalley I knew I needed the perfect pattern! I am SO excited at how this turned out and my mom LOVED IT!!! What do you think? Sewn on my @babylocksewing Ballad and she handled it like a champ!     What’s your fav way to machine quilt? I love hav What’s your fav way to machine quilt? I love having a handy dandy metal guide that attaches to my walking foot! The one I’m using here is on my @babylocksewing Ballad digital dual feed foot 🤩 I have one for my Baby Lock Jazz as well! SOO handy! Mark your first quilting line with a Hera marker and then set the distance and follow the quilting lines with the guide!
