Hey, I’m Ledine!

My story began when I first ventured into the world of quilting, I faced some of this frustration head-on before realizing that I didn’t have to attempt the most difficult patterns or projects to feel satisfied with my final piece.

Can you relate?

This is the life lesson that I want to share with my corner of the quilting community: Whether you’re new to quilting or a long-time expert, there is plenty of fun to be found in sweet, simple projects like the ones I create and share here. But simple doesn’t mean boring. In fact, I often find that my pattern creations are inspired by trendy fabrics and prints that so many people love and appreciate.

AS A SELF-PROCLAIMED PERFECTIONIST, I STRUGGLED TO FIND CREATIVE ACTIVITIES THAT ARE MORE FUN THAN FRUSTRATING.

I didn’t grow up sewing and quilting, despite the fact that these interests are practically embedded within my genes. Both my mother and grandmother had wonderful talents, especially when it came to quilting, but as I grew up, I simply never cared to learn. In fact, I only recently discovered my love for quilting when someone in a craft store recommended I try it, and since then, I’ve been hooked.

It was suggested that I consider taking a quilting class for beginners, but anybody with a full-time job, busy schedule, and/or kids knows that time is precious, and we rarely have extra to spare. So, my approach to quilting looked a lot like hundreds of YouTube tutorials, hours of reading, and excessive trial and error. Looking back, I realize that I would have benefitted from a better, stronger foundation of skills – maybe I should’ve taken that class after all – which brings me here.

I strive to provide insights and tips to my own community (that’s you) to help you strengthen your own quilting and crafting foundation. My goal for this community is to help quilters of all levels become more familiar with the techniques and skills that will help them perfect their own projects as well as discover new ones.

Diving into a new hobby can be intimidating, but I am eager to welcome all who want to grow more comfortable in this craft and find their voice within the quilting community. I’m excited to provide engaging courses, quilting resources, and loads of information to help you sharpen those skills!

I’M EXCITED TO GROW AND LEARN TOGETHER!
